CSI/GSI to Move Coinless Gaming Into the Mainstream

19 May 2000

LAS VEGAS, May 19 (Press Release) -- Coinless Systems, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: CLSY - news) and Gaming Systems International (GSI) announced the signing of a sales and distribution agreement that will integrate coinless gaming into GSI's Total Resort Management System, GAMBIT™. This agreement allows the companies to share expertise and resources to integrate coinless gaming and systems engineering.

The agreement allows GSI to market Coinless Systems, Inc.'s TickeTrak® coinless gaming device to existing clientele and the enormous Indian gaming market in California. In return for the exclusive distributorship in California, GSI has contracted to purchase 10,000 TickeTrak units. Also, this venture will accelerate the introduction and implementation of TickeTrak into California and other coinless gaming markets ahead of schedule.

"One of the more important results of this new venture will be a GSI-developed computerized system that reports coinless gaming player information to a stand-alone Ticket Accounting System (TAS)," said Dennis Sorenson, president of Coinless Systems, Inc. "The excitement associated with this agreement is casinos will now be able to integrate coinless gaming casino-wide with relative ease. This venture closes the loop in moving coinless gaming into the mainstream and allows us to begin installations on a nationwide basis."

"The end product will meet management's need for a coinless gaming ticket accounting tracking system that can be integrated into existing casino management systems," said Sorenson. "In short, Coinless System's patented process, when combined with GSI's systems engineering expertise and long-standing reputation in the industry, will produce some exciting results."

TickeTrak is the only coinless system that employs a patented process to instantly verify bar-coded tickets at the slot machine instead of the cashier cage. The Ticket Accounting System is the first to take advantage of this patented process to meet the gaming industry's coinless gaming integration requirements.

Coinless Systems, Inc. is a Las Vegas-based developer, manufacturer, and supplier of coinless systems and peripheral devices for the gaming industry. Its principal product is TickeTrak, instantly verifies and ensures the accuracy of bar-coded tickets at the slot machine as well as the cashier cage.

Las Vegas-based Gaming Systems International (www.gamingsystems.net) is one of the world's leading suppliers of hospitality and casino management systems with installations on five continents and offices in the Caribbean and Europe.
