CSI Counts Down to Test7 June 2000LAS VEGAS, June 7 (Press Release) -- Coinless Systems Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: CLSY - news) is counting down the days to the final testing of its TickeTrak® patented ticket verification system, where bar coded tickets are verified prior to being issued to the player, and Ticket Accounting System (TAS) on a variety of manufacturers slot machines. TAS is designed and developed by Gaming Systems International for exclusive use in TickeTrak, where required. This is the last pre-requisite of the purchase order agreement issued by Spirit Mountain Casino and with their approval of the results of the test, CSI will begin manufacturing and installation of at least 1,200 TickeTrak units Another criteria of the test is the quality of the printed tickets that are issued to the players. The tickets issued by TickeTrak are not only verified twice before issuance but are protected with a patented Uvashield coating which waterproofs and prevents scratching or discoloration of the bar coded ticket. These built-in features of TickeTrak ensures absolute accuracy every time in both the retro-fit and OEM units. This installation at Spirit Mountain Casino marks the first major conversion to coinless gaming involving the entire casino slot floor and the first in the Indian Gaming market. There are currently several casinos in California issuing tickets or vouchers where the players must go to the cashier cage to cash their tickets in order to continue play on other machines. TickeTrak not only will allow players to use their bar coded tickets in other machines for continued play, but will also allow the casino to track play through the use of TAS, which will be linked to their current slot accounting system, another first in coinless gaming. Other companies involved in coinless gaming are making claims to achieve what Coinless Systems has done and will prove in the test results. Commenting on the test, Dennis Sorenson, president of Coinless Systems Inc. said, ``We are looking forward, with great anticipation to the developments over the next couple of weeks in the pre-test results. We have worked long hours and diligently to get to this point and the results will prove it. "The installation at Spirit Mountain Casino will be a milestone for the company and we are looking forward to the other casino properties who have expressed a great interest in our product to observe the operation of TickeTrak in a live casino setting.'' Coinless Systems, Inc. is a Las Vegas-based developer, manufacturer, and supplier of coinless systems and peripheral devices for the gaming industry. Its principal product TickeTrak, is the only coinless system that employs a patented process that instantly verifies and ensures the accuracy of bar-coded tickets at the slot machine as well as the cashier cage. |
