CryptoLogic beats analysts bets11 February 2003Internet gaming company CryptoLogic Inc. announced today its financial results for the fourth quarter and year ended December 31 2002. Results were ahead of average analysts'' estimates, in line with management expectations and reflect another good quarter for one of the more solid companies in an uncertain market. "CryptoLogic closed 2002 on a positive note, beating analysts'' estimates and meeting management''s expectations," said Lewis Rose, interim President and CEO. Expressing caution due to the uncertainty of the US market, Rose further stated, "Both our base business and our new products and customers showed encouraging progress in the fourth quarter, which positions CryptoLogic to enter 2003 on solid ground and with positive momentum." Some of the more important intiatives achieved by CryptoLogic during the second half of the year include the acquisition of new customers Littlewoods Leisure and the Ritz Club Online as well as new bingo and poker offerings. |
