Connecticut Casino Announces Fall Entertainment Schedule3 October 2000MASHANTUCKET, Connecticut -- (Press Release) -- Oct. 3, 2000 -- As a burst of color sweeps through Southern New England this Autumn, more fresh new faces and more new up-and-coming stars will make their debut at Foxwoods Resort Casino. New this fall will be Macy Gray, MTV's New Artist of the Year, Chicago-The Musical, and country music's hottest ticket, Billy Gilman. Alice Cooper performs Halloween Eve. ``This is probably the best mix of fresh and diverse talent that Foxwoods has debuted this season,'' said Vice President of Entertainment Tom Cantone. ``We like to bring in a variety of shows that appeal to a broad Foxwoods audience.'' John Michael Montgomery and Billy Gilman kick-off October at the Fox Theater. Both have hit songs in country's top ten. Gilman's first CD ``One Voice'' has been a huge success. The title song video was voted the No. 1 music video on Country Music Television. They will appear at the Fox Theater on Friday, October 6 at 9 p.m. The next night, October 7, actor/comedian and Kennedy Center honoree Bill Cosby returns to Foxwoods for two shows in the Fox Theater at 7 & 10 p.m. |
