Colorado casinos numbers down

COLORADO – As reported by the Denver Business Journal: "Colorado casinos reported total revenue of $54.5 million for December 2006, according to the state's Division of Gaming.

"That's the lowest revenue in the last six months of '06. Casinos had their highest monthly revenues for the period -- $74.2 million -- in July. November gaming revenues were $63.1 million.

"…Colorado casinos paid $8.56 million in gaming taxes in the last month of 2006…"
