Coinless Systems Signs Licensing Agreement With Atronic Americas

8 April 2002

LAS VEGAS -- (Press Release) -- Coinless Systems Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: CLSY; ), a leading developer, manufacturer and supplier of coinless technology and products for the gaming industry, announced today that the Company has signed a licensing agreement with Atronic Americas LLC.

Equipped with an ambitious leadership and an international team of dedicated people, Atronic is the biggest supplier of video and gaming devices in Europe. With a team of highly ambitious mathematicians, graphic designers, engineers and electronics experts, Atronic is able to provide the world with innovative ideas and technology.

Under the licensing agreement, Atronic is licensed to use Coinless Systems patented ``Scan After Print'' technology, in slot machines manufactured by Atronic. In the agreement, Coinless Systems grants Atronic a non-exclusive license to use devices within the scope of Coinless Systems U.S. Patent No. 6,012,832.

``Atronic strives to anticipate trends and we are positive that both the 'Scan After Print' technology and the UVASHIELD coating technology for slot tickets, will become a key element to our ticket in/ticket out capabilities. The new UVASHIELD will provide even more alternatives for our TITO customers,'' remarked Joe Bailo, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Atronic.

The UVASHIELD coating on Coinless Systems gaming tickets protects the ticket against sun, light, alcoholic beverages, and water damage as well as increasing the life of the printers with less wear and tear on print heads.

Atronic Americas LLC signing Coinless Systems Licensing agreements gives them the right to install printers into their slot machines that have an integrated scanner built into the assembly mechanism to VERIFY tickets prior to being presented to the player. Every casino who orders barcode ticker printers from Atronic will have the option of having the verification built into their CSI approved licensed printer, thus insuring not only the casino but the public as well that every ticket presented to a player has been scanned and verified.

``Coinless Systems is very proud that Atronic has joined the ranks of the licensed family of manufacturers who support not only the patented 'Scan After Print' verification process but more importantly the signing of the agreements signifies their belief that it protects the casino, player and above all the gaming industry,'' said Dennis Sorenson, President and CEO of CSI.

Atronic and sister company Atronic International are members of the family-owned and -operated Gauselmann Group, which has sold in total more than 1.7 million machines since inception, and 97,000 gaming devices in the year 2001 alone.
