Codere appoints Agustín González as new Director of Technology and Digitalization10 October 2023(PRESS RELEASE) -- Codere, a leading multinational in the entertainment and gaming sector in Europe and Latin America, announced the appointment of Agustín González Tuñón as the new Director of Technology and Digitalization, who will report directly to Gonzaga Higuero, CEO of the company. With more than two decades of experience in digital transformation, technology, security and innovation, Agustín González will lead the group's digitalization strategy. Previously, he held the position of CIO of the Atresmedia Group, and played key roles as CIO at Movistar Prosegur Alarmas, or CIO and Director of Digitalization at Prosegur. González has a Master's degree in Business Administration and Telecommunications Management from the University of Dallas and a degree in Business Administration and Management from ICADE. In his new role as Director of Technology and Digitalization, González takes on the challenge of leading the company's digital transformation, identifying opportunities where technology contributes to improving processes. In addition, he will focus on the development and execution of a technological strategy aligned with the group's general objectives, ensuring that technology is a lever for generating value. Likewise, he will ensure the security of the company's digital assets, including the protection of confidential data and the prevention of cyber threats, while supervising the implementation of the group's technological teams and projects to drive growth and efficiency. The incorporation of González is a key step in the strategic evolution of Codere, which seeks to consolidate its leadership in the market through operational excellence. |
