Circus and Mirage Atlantic City Project in Jeopardy

LAS VEGAS -– Mirage Resorts has terminated an agreement with Circus Circus Enterprises, Inc. with respect to their joint development of a hotel/casino complex on a Marina site in Atlantic City.

Mirage asserted that there has been an unspecified material change in circumstances concerning the funding of the Marina connector by the State of New Jersey. Circus' management, however, remains ready to go forward with the Atlantic City project and believes that it has a binding and enforceable agreement with Mirage.
