Century Casinos Opens Casino Aboard Oceania Cruises' Regatta27 June 2003CRIPPLE CREEK, Colorado – (Press Release) -- Century Casinos, Inc. (Nasdaq: CNTY) announced today the successful opening of its casino aboard the Regatta, the luxurious, 684 passenger cruise ship operated by Oceania Cruises, a Miami-based cruise line catering to the high-end segment of the cruise industry. This summer's itinerary includes ports of call in Spain, France, Monaco, and Italy. "We are pleased to open the second casino aboard an Oceania vessel," said Erwin Haitzmann, Chairman and CEO of the Company. "This brings the total number of gaming positions of our cruise ship casinos to 355, consisting of 27 gaming tables and 166 slot machines." In addition to operating the casinos aboard the Regatta and the Insignia, Century Casinos has the first right of refusal for casinos aboard any new ships that Oceania may bring into service, pursuant to a long term casino concession agreement. Century Casinos is an international casino company that owns and operates Womacks Casino and Hotel in Cripple Creek, Colorado; owns and operates The Caledon Casino, Hotel & Spa near Cape Town, South Africa; operates the casinos aboard the ultra-luxury vessels of Silversea Cruises, The World of ResidenSea, and Oceania Cruises; and owns 10% of and manages the Millennium Casino in the Marriott Hotel in Prague, Czech Republic.
