Century Casinos names new COO9 August 2007COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Century Casinos, Inc. (NASDAQ and Vienna Stock Exchange: CNTY) announced today that Larry Hannappel, Senior Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer of the Company, has been appointed Chief Operating Officer North America. In his new, additional function he will be responsible for Century Casinos' operations in Central City and Cripple Creek, Colorado, as well as the Century Casino & Hotel, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Larry, a graduate (1976) from National College, Rapid City, South Dakota, with a B.S. Degree in Accounting, and a Certified Public Accountant ("CPA"), has been employed by Century Casinos since May 1994. He became Chief Accounting Officer in October 1999, was appointed Secretary in March 2000, Treasurer in June 2001 and Senior Vice President in March 2005. Before he joined Century Casinos, he was employed in public accounting and had served in various financial management capacities in manufacturing and gaming.
