Celebpoker.com Winner Named

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The first ever season of Celebpoker.com's Poker League has come to a thrilling end. Poker fans can already look forward to the second league which will be coming soon. Celebpoker.com is pleased to announce that El Bis has won a choice of a $15,000 cash prize or a seat for the WPT Diamond Tournament at The Bellagio, Las Vegas ($15,000 buy-in).

The league winner is from Barcelona, but spends much of his time in London. He intends to continue his poker career by playing live poker tournaments all across Europe.

When asked if he intended to take the seat at WPT Diamonds in Las Vegas, El Bis said he thought his chances against the world's best players were pretty good. "This year I played in the WSOP. I played with pro's like Layne Flack and David Chiu and finished in the money, so I think I fared quite well."

The other outstanding players who came top ten in the league will also receive prizes ranging from deluxe poker chip sets to Celebpoker polo shirts and playing cards. Honourable mentions go to Yoshin777, Gibbsy1, Thecortstr, Stungar, Reevioi, Amkorn, BennoIsOnl, Sabbyhund and Obywatel-g.

Players are invited to join in the online poker action as the second season promises to be bigger, better and faster than before.

After the success of the first competition, Poker League even more exciting.

New features to be introduced will include more cash and faster payouts and a $2500 monthly prize pool for the top 5 players.

There will be 5 weekly league games, a weekly freeroll league game, a weekly re-buy league game and deeper starting stacks.
