CDS Receives Final Approval for Jackpot Bingo

LAS VEGAS, Nevada-- (Press Release) – Aug. 15, 2000-- Casino Data Systems (NASDAQ:CSDS) today announced that the Company has received formal approval from the Nevada Gaming Control Board for its newest multi-site progressive (MSP) jackpot system--Jackpot Bingo(TM).

This approval will allow the Company to commercialize its newest video slot progressive link in casinos throughout the state of Nevada.

Jackpot Bingo is a multimedia slot machine that enables players throughout a state or gaming jurisdiction to compete for two large progressive jackpots. The game is based on CDS' popular Bandit(TM) Series multimedia technology and includes a high-paying bingo card bonus round as well as an exciting five-reel 15-line base game that gives players more ways to win.
