CDS' Easy Street Approved in Louisiana

23 March 2000

LAS VEGAS, Nev., March 23 (Press Release) - Casino Data Systems (Nasdaq: CSDS) today announced that the company has received formal approval from the Louisiana gaming regulators for Easy Street(TM), the newest model in the popular Bandit Series of multimedia video slot games.

This marks the first approval of a Bandit(TM) Series game in the state of Louisiana. After successfully completing the required regulatory field trial period at Harrah's Shreveport Casino, Easy Street can now compete for space among the more than 15,000 slot machines in the state of Louisiana.

"We were very pleased with the performance of Easy Street during the initial trial period," said David Lucchese, Vice President of Games and Gaming for Casino Data Systems. "We are thrilled to offer this exciting nine-line, 45-coin game to Louisiana casinos and players."

Combining popular video reel action with unique, entertaining bonuses, Easy Street offers players not one, but two bonus rounds! The game's playful theme and colorful graphics attract and amuse players.

Just three SPIN symbols anywhere on the reels advances the player to the bonus game. The player spins the color wheel to advance Chance, the playful puppy, along the path toward the finish. Each time Chance lands on a square, the player accumulates bonus points. If Chance lands on GO HOME, the player is awarded the points accumulated up to that point and sends Chance back to his doghouse.

If Chance makes it all the way to the end of the path, the player advances to the second bonus round where Chance hops in his car and takes a drive along Easy Street. The player then chooses his favorite of Chance's hangouts to reveal a huge bonus payout! The player can also reach the second bonus round instantly by getting three Easy Street symbols anywhere on the reels.

"This approval opens up an important market for us," said Steven A. Weiss, chairman and chief executive officer of Casino Data Systems. "Easy Street is quickly becoming a player favorite, and we are eager to offer it to the Louisiana market."
