CD Poker responds to the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act

13 October 2006

Due to the recent passing of the Unlawful Gambling Enforcement Act by the United States Senate on September 30, 2006, and its imminent enactment as federal law, we will no longer allow real money gaming activities from United States residents.

After taking extensive legal advice, our Poker rooms management team has concluded that this Act when signed into law will force us into the above action and no other recourse is available.

However, our players may still be able to play for fun but will no longer be allowed to enter to any ring games or tournaments.
