Casino World Receives Two Year Permit Extension18 July 2002MADEIRA BEACH, Florida – (Press Release) -- Europa Cruises Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: KRUZ) reported today that on July 16, 2002, the Mississippi Commission on Marine Resources voted unanimously to grant Casino World, Inc. a two-year extension of its coastal wetlands permit which is required for the Company's Diamondhead, Mississippi project. The permit, which expires in August of 2002, was extended to August 2004. Deborah A. Vitale, President of Casino World, Inc., commenting on the extension, stated: "This is the first time that Casino World, Inc. has requested a two-year extension of the coastal wetlands permit issued by the Mississippi Commission on Marine Resources. The Company appeared before the full Commission yesterday to answer any questions any of the Commissioners might have had relating to the Company, the Diamondhead project, or the extension of the permit. We are especially pleased that the Commission's vote to support the permit's extension was a unanimous one." Europa Cruises Corporation, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Casino World, Inc., intends to develop a destination casino resort and hotel at its 404 acre site on the Bay of St. Louis in Diamondhead, Mississippi. There is no outstanding debt and there are no liens on the property. |
