Casino Windsor Workers and Management Reach a Tentative Deal30 March 2001WINDSOR, Canada –(Press Release) -- March 30, 2001 --Casino Windsor management and Canadian Autoworkers (CAW) Local 444 have reached a tentative agreement to replace the agreement that would have expired this Sunday, April 1 at 8 a.m. As a result, Casino Windsor will remain open. The union will hold a ratification vote on Monday, April 2, 2001 at the Coboto Club in three separate sessions to accommodate various shift times. Casino Windsor will once again be taking hotel reservations and all Showtime Lounge shows are to go ahead as planned. Casino Windsor apologizes to its many loyal customers for any inconvenience the uncertainty this labour dispute may have caused. |
