Casino Windsor Reopens

WINDSOR, Ontario – (Press Release) -- Casino Windsor will be open for business at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 21.

Customers are welcomed back to the casino and four-diamond hotel for business as usual.

Any hotel customers wishing to confirm their reservations may call 1-800-991-8888.

The casino will operate on generator power during the day and switch to the main power grid during the off-peak hours in the evening. To further conserve energy, Casino Windsor will not have any exterior lights operating including the neon signs, except where needed for safety.

The power blackouts affecting Ontario and the eastern United States caused Casino Windsor to remain closed for the past six days to help the province conserve energy.
