Casino Windsor Attendance Down5 June 2003WINDSOR, Ontario – As reported by the Detroit News: “War jitters and security concerns hurt attendance at Casino Windsor during the last quarter. “Average daily attendance fell by nearly 2,000 people, or 12 percent, compared with the same quarter the previous year. “…Its revenues fell 8 percent to $145.6 million in Canadian dollars. But converted to U.S. dollars, Casino Windsor's revenues were actually up 2 percent to $105.6 million because of currency value fluctuations. “…Casino Windsor gets about 80 percent of its business from the United States…” |
