Casino Pauma Selected as Pilot Site for QuikPlay ATM22 April 2002LAS VEGAS--(Press Release)-- QuikPlay LLC has announced that Casino Pauma in Pauma Valley, Calif., has been selected as the pilot site for its QuikPlay ATM product. QuikPlay LLC is majority-owned by Global Cash Access (GCA), the leading supplier of cash access, financial management and customer relationship marketing technologies to the gaming industry. The pilot program is expected to begin in the fall, pending approval from gaming regulators. QuikPlay ATM will provide safe and convenient cash access to gaming patrons on approximately 160 slot machines at Casino Pauma. QuikPlay ATM enables newer-model gaming machines to receive ATM funds via a highly secure technology platform (patent pending). When a gaming machine is equipped with QuikPlay ATM technology, patrons can access their own funds conveniently and safely. Patrons swipe their ATM cards, enter their PIN and requested amount, and funds, if approved, are credited to the machine. QuikPlay ATM allows patrons to control spending via daily limits they set with the ATM card issuer as well as by limits controlled by the QuikPlay System. Additionally, QuikPlay ATM reduces the cash-handling burden for casino management. ``Casino Pauma was selected for the pilot program because of their customer profile, location and the compatibility of their gaming machines and slot accounting system,'' said Morry Goldstein, president of QuikPlay LLC. ``We are excited about showing the gaming industry how QuikPlay can improve customer satisfaction and increase gaming revenue.'' ``We are delighted to have been selected to test QuikPlay ATM,'' said Richard Darder, chief executive officer of Casino Pauma. ``We are looking forward to experiencing QuikPlay ATM and its ability to improve safety and convenience for our slot customers.'' Following the 60-day testing period at Casino Pauma, full rollout of the QuikPlay ATM to the market is anticipated by first quarter 2003. QuikPlay ATM supports GCA's Self Transaction Exclusion Program, or STEP, which allows gaming patrons to exclude themselves from access to their own funds from cash access devices in the GCA network. STEP is successfully deployed in nearly 1,000 gaming establishments. ``The technology used in QuikPlay ATM provides the ultimate in convenience and safety,'' said Goldstein. ``Our socially responsible approach ensures the greatest functionality while providing state-of-the-art safeguards for casinos and gaming patrons.'' QuikPlay LLC is majority-owned by Global Cash Access (GCA), the leading provider of cash access, financial management and customer relationship marketing technologies to the gaming industry. QuikPlay LLC provides casino patrons and management with safe, convenient delivery of ATM funds directly to gaming machines.
