Casino Niagara Makes Changes to Gaming Floor19 June 1997NIAGARA FALLS, Ontario -- Following six months of action, Casino Niagara is shuffling its gaming floor to better meet patrons' expectations. More than 20 gaming tables will be added on both the smoking and non-smoking gaming floors, said President Dan Macomber. "Since opening in early December, we have examined the preferences of our players and we're working toward meeting their needs." Six more Caribbean stud Poker tables have been added after proving highly popular, Macomber said. The re-configuration of the gaming floor will now bring the total number of table games to 144, including favorites like Blackjack, Let it Ride, Roulette and Baccarat. Responding to customer preferences, the casino has also increased the number of 25-cent machines significantly. During the peak season these slots will be temporarily located in the second floor gaming area overlooking the atrium. The casino is also replacing 150 reel slots with video poker games, many of these in 25-cent denominations. When all changes to the slot re-configuration are complete the total number will be 2,700 - down from 3,000. |
