Currently, the gaming facility includes 3O,OOO square feet of gaming space (the maximum allowed under the current Louisiana regulation); 44 table games and 984 slot machines; 600 surface parking spaces and 750 employees. While in operation, construction of a 37,000-square-foot entertainment pavilion and a 1,550 car covered parking garage continues and is scheduled to open in December of this year. The entertainment pavilion is designed to include a buffet restaurant, a gift shop, a bar and lounge area, and an entertainment stage area. Casino Magic management said that the Bossier City/Shreveport market is the only gaming market in Louisiana with continuous 24-hour dockside gaming, without cruising or simulated cruising schedules.
