Casino Journal to Name 'Top 20 Most Innovative Gaming Products' at Summit in January28 September 1998LAS VEGAS -- A panel of five expert judges have chosen Casino Journal's Top 20 Most Innovative Gaming Products for 1999. The 20 products will be evaluated and judged by attendees of the American Gaming, Lodging & Leisure Summit, to be held January 12 & 13, 1999, at Bellagio in Las Vegas. The top vote-getter at the Summit will receive the Best of Show Award and be named the "Most Innovative Gaming Product 1999" at the keynote dinner at the American Gaming, Lodging & Leisure Summit. A description of the Top 20 Most Innovative Gaming Products for 1999 will be published in the January edition of Casino Journal, the gaming industry's leading trade magazine. Those 20 products were chosen from dozens of nominations submitted following a call for entries. The winners are:
The expert judges for the Top 20 Most Innovative Gaming Products '99 are: Larry Clark, Senior Vice President, Casino Operations, Trump Taj Mahal; Steve Norton, former President, Argosy Gaming Corp.; Steven Rosen, Senior Vice President, Operations, Grand Casino Corp.; Michael Tomasello, Vice President of Slot Operations, Caesars Palace; and James Wortman, Director of the Office of Gaming Education and Research, Conrad Hilton College of Hotel & Restaurant Management, the University of Houston. The American Gaming, Lodging & Leisure Summit is a conference produced by Bear Stearns & Co. Inc., Casino Journal Publishing Group, and the Lionel Sawyer & Collins law firm of Nevada. Keynote speakers at the Summit this year include Steven Wynn, Chairman, Mirage Resorts, and Kay Coles James, Chairwoman, National Gambling Impact Study Commission.
