Casino Dealer Cleared in Scam8 August 2001GULFPORT, Mississippi –– As reported by the Associated Press: "A casino dealer no longer faces charges she participated in a scam to cheat Mississippi Gulf Coast casinos out of about $200,000 on craps games. "Justice Court Judge Mary Foretich recently dismissed the charges against Sandra Lee Pack, 46, of Long Beach. "Pack was a dealer at Grand Casino Gulfport in March when state Gaming Commission agents accused her of accepting at least $800 in tip money from the scam. "…At least five other Gulf Coast casino dealers are charged with paying Richard Taylor, a gambler from Memphis, Tenn., on losing bets. Taylor is charged with masterminding the scam…" |
