Casino Data Systems' Chairman and CEO, Steven A. Weiss, Featured on CEOcast8 August 2000LAS VEGAS, Nevada--(Press Release)--Aug. 8, 2000--Casino Data Systems (Nasdaq: CSDS) announced today that Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Steven A. Weiss, was featured on CEOcast. Weiss discussed the Company's strong financial performance in Q2 2000 as well as the Company's outlook for the future. In the second quarter ended June 30, 2000, CDS reported record quarterly operating profit and its third-highest revenue quarter ever. The Company also reported key financial highlights such as $0.17 EPS vs $0.11 for the same quarter in the prior year, and its strong balance sheet including over $40 million in cash, no long-term debt, and total assets of $117.6 million. The Company is continuing to build its intellectual property portfolio. CDS has recently received patents for its Bandit(TM) Technology, Cooperative Group Gaming System, and Automated Tournament Gaming System. |
