Casino Data Systems Appoints New Chief Financial Officer8 May 2000LAS VEGAS, Nevada, May 8 (Press Release) – Casino Data Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: CSDS) today announced that Ron Rowan has been promoted from Vice President of Finance to Chief Financial Officer. Rowan brings 14 years of financial and strategic consulting experience to his new assignment. Rowan joined Casino Data Systems in 1996 as Corporate Controller and was promoted to Vice President of Finance in October 1999. In that capacity, he oversaw the Company's financial, human resource and internal information technology functions. Prior to joining CDS, Rowan was employed by Price Waterhouse, LLP for 10 years in various business advisory service capacities. Rowan is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a B.S. degree from the University of Southern California and an MBA degree from the University of California at Los Angeles. "Ron and his financial team played an important part in the Company's return to profitability. His financial expertise, consulting experience and in-depth knowledge of Casino Data Systems will be tremendous assets in his new role as CFO.
