Cashless slot machines take over

2 July 2002

A survey by Goldman Sachs & Co. compared between the traditional slot machine and the new "cashless" gaming technology. The survey has indicated that those who tried both machines prefer the second. Unlike the familiar payment system, the "cshless" system is nout about the sound of coins but bar coded tickets. The bar codes accuracy is varified both at the slot machine and the cashier cage. They survey included 300 local residents. Out of 300, 60 percent have played the cashless machines, and 59 percent of those residents say they preferred the coinless machines. These results were abbounced by Coinless Systems, Inc, who develop and manufacture coinless technology and products. Chief Executive Officer, Dennis Sorenson said to the press:"As the casino industry becomes more and more involved with cashless gaming, our Patented ''Scan After Print'' technology should become a standard option on every slot printer installed in the future."
