Caribbean Internet Casino Shut Down By US District Court

12 April 2000

Home Gambling Network, a wholly owned subsidiary of i2corp.com , has reported that it has obtained a US District Court decision enjoining First Live Casino from allegedly infringing on HGN's US Patent. The decision has effectively shut down First Live Casino.

"Home Gambling Network's victory in the United States Federal Court for Nevada has worldwide implications," Mel Molnick, inventor of the patent said. "Any entity not licensed by HGN who is accepting remote wagers on live games/events with electronic transactions will share the same fate."

First Live Casino was a site set-up in the Caribbean which sent purportedly live streaming casino action into the United States accompanied with electronic transactions. Home Gambling Network claims First Live Casino was not licensed to conduct its patented method of wagering.

HGN is the holder of the only patent issued by the United States Patent and Trademark Office which covers electronic payouts on any and all transmissions of LIVE REAL TIME wagered events.
