Canterbury Park Holding Results Up3 April 2003MINNESOTA – As reported by the Shakopee Valley News: "Canterbury Park Holding Corp. announced net income was $2,276,595 on revenues of $41,701,314 for the fiscal year ending Dec. 31, compared to net income of $1,816,780 on revenues of $39,492,037 for the year ending Dec. 31, 2001 -- a 25.3 percent increase. Earnings per share for fiscal 2002 were 57 cents compared to 49 cents for fiscal 2001. "The company's 2002 revenues of $41.7 million represented a 5.6 percent increase over 2001. Card Club revenues increased 6.9 percent to $18.1 million in 2002 compared to $16.9 million in 2001. "…Parimutuel revenues increased 2.3 percent to approximately $16.8 million in 2002 as compared to the prior year, primarily due to an increase in simulcast wagering. "…For the fourth quarter of 2002, the company posted revenues of $8,712,792, up 1.7 percent from the $8,566,616 reported during the same period of 2001. Net income was $497,872 or 13 cents per diluted share, compared to 15 cents per diluted share in the fourth quarter of 2001…" |
