Camelot Helps Launch Gambling Advice Leaflet12 March 2002UNITED KINGDOM – As reported by Ananova: "Camelot has helped launch a new leaflet for parents worried their child may have a gambling problem. "…It also estimates approximately 75% of young people have gambled at some point and around 10% of calls to its helpline are from people under the age of 18. "The leaflet, published today, puts the problem into perspective and is designed to help parents who may have concerns about their child. "It forms part of the Parental Awareness Campaign, instigated by Camelot to improve the knowledge of parents of the problem of gambling among adolescents. "…It will be distributed to Citizens Advice Bureaus and GP surgeries throughout the UK…" |
