California Casino Plans Expansion26 May 2003WASHINGTON – As reported by the Lompoc Record: "The Chumash Casino has experienced phenomenal success and growth over the last several years, despite opposition from some county officials. Now the casino is poised to grow again. "With a casino expansion and the addition of three restaurants and a 105-bed hotel, the Chumash Casino hopes to attract visitors from as far away as San Francisco and Los Angeles. To aid in spreading the word, the casino has recently hired Gary Robinson as public relations manager. "…Robinson said the project is ahead of schedule but the casino expansion portion should be ready and open by early September. "…The project will expand the casino to 200,000-square feet and will include three floors, a fine dining area, buffet, caf/ and snack bar, as well as the hotel…" |
