Caesars Promotes Focuses on Revenue Growth, Technology Initiatives

LAS VEGAS -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Caesars Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE: CZR), one of the world's leading gaming companies, today announced two executive promotions intended to sharpen the company's focus on strategic initiatives involving technology, information systems and revenue enhancement. The appointments are effective immediately.

Senior Vice President Robert G. Conover was named Special Assistant for Strategic Initiatives, while Vice President of Information Systems Carol Pride was appointed Chief Information Officer. The promotions were announced by Caesars Entertainment President and Chief Executive Officer Wallace R. Barr.

"These new appointments will enable us to take a more strategic approach to the challenge of using the latest technology and complex information systems to drive revenue growth and improve yields across all of our operations," Barr said.

In his new role, Conover, who previously served as CIO, will be responsible for developing and implementing new strategies for increasing revenue through the use of new technology and advanced information systems. Specifically, Conover is charged with maximizing the return on the investments the company has made in its state-of-the-art data systems by developing new database marketing tools and techniques; increasing room and customer revenue yield; improving integration of slot systems data into the company's data warehouse; and identifying and putting in place new table game management systems. Conover also will lead the slot development group. He will report to Barr.

As the company's new CIO, Pride will directly supervise the information systems and information technology organizations across the company and will be responsible for the organization, operation and administration of all information systems and information technology functions. Pride will report to the company's chief financial officer.

Pride is charged with developing new information systems and technology capabilities and initiatives; supervising all IT services and project management; enhancing and improving the data warehouse, the Internet infrastructure, e-business systems and guest services systems; managing and improving back office systems; managing the company's telecommunications and data networks and systems; and directing the IT service team and all IT operations and applications support.
