Business Leaders Support Sheffield Casino

SHEFFIELD, England – As reported by the Yorkshire Post Today: "Business leaders across South Yorkshire are supporting plans for a casino to be built in Sheffield . The city is one of eight places across the nation shortlisted to host a Las-Vegas style casino.

"Later this year an independent panel will recommend to the Government which city should play host to the lucrative casino.

"…The panel is visiting sites over the next few weeks and will be in Sheffield on September 6 to hear arguments for and against.

"The leaders of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry for Sheffield, Barnsley, Rotherham and Doncaster are all supporting the Sheffield bid.

"They believe the casino will transform the Sheffield city region, and the knock-on effect will benefit their districts…"
