BtoBet to meet operators in Nairobi

(PRESS RELEASE) -- On 7-8 June in Villa Rosa Kempinski, authorities, operators and international experts in the gaming industry will discuss strategies regarding the rapid growth of the market in Africa during WrB Africa.

Around 10% of people in Africa access the internet through mobile devices. In Eastern Africa, surveys state 60% of mobile phones sold in the area, mainly in Kenya, are smartphones. Despite the gaming market being principally land-based, the explosion of mobile users throughout the country and the evolution of mobile devices is making Kenya one of the most attractive areas for mobile business.

With this in mind, BtoBet will attend the upcoming summit in Nairobi and will take part in two panels: The Big Move: Retail to Online and Maximizing Your Retail Business. Both panels take place on 7 June.

BtoBet founder and chairman Alessandro Fried will share his point of view regarding the best practices for converting retail customers and taking advantage of growing popularity of sports betting in the region.

He will also discuss:

  • Converting retail to mobile.
  • Managing alternative payment systems.
  • Choosing marketing solutions to support cross-player experiences.
