British Columbia Adds More Slots22 May 2003NANAIMO, British Columbia – As reported by the Victoria Times Colonist: "The B.C. Lottery Corp. will add up to 125 slot machines in Nanaimo by summer. "City council has given the owner of the Great Canadian Casino Company the go-ahead to apply to the B.C. Gaming Commission for additional one-armed bandits. "The Crown corporation says high use has fuelled demand for more slots, and renovation plans are in place to install the new machines in time for the summer tourist season.
