Bristol Associates to Conduct Casino Executive Survey

LOS ANGELES, California – (Press Release)-- Jan. 22, 2002-- The gaming industry's premier newsletter and its leading executive search firm will again conduct an Internet-based national survey of casino executives to help the gaming industry attract, retain and motivate its executive talent.

The Los Angeles-based executive search firm, will host the survey on its popular, Bristol Associates web site. To participate in the survey, click on the ``survey'' button on the ``gaming'' page. Michael Pollock's Gaming Industry Observer, a nationally recognized newsletter and research service will analyze the results and report them in a future issue of the award-winning newsletter.

The 1st Annual Gaming Industry Observer/Bristol Associates Survey of Casino Executives results were published one year ago in Gaming Industry Observer. Publisher Michael Pollock said: ``The ability to attract and retain managerial talent could be a critical factor that separates winners from losers in coming years. Our job is to do the research and identify the tools that the leading companies will need.''

Participants in the survey will again receive a complimentary copy of the results.

Gaming Industry Observer -- the only casino trade publication to ever receive national recognition -- won first-place awards in 1996 and 1999 for editorial excellence from the Newsletter Publishers foundation. Gaming Industry Observer analyzes significant economic, social, political, legal and technological trends that impact the gaming industry, and has expanded far beyond its Atlantic City base. From 1991 through 1996, Pollock was spokesman for the New Jersey Casino Control Commission. Pollock, former editorial page editor for The Press of Atlantic City, has won 18 journalism awards. He authored the 1987 book, ``Hostage to Fortune: Atlantic City and Casino Gambling,'' published by the Center for Analysis of Public Issues in Princeton.
