A new online casino called Casino Galaxy is keeping the tradition alive on the Internet by sponsoring what is believed to be the first ever worldwide online casino pageant. The "Miss Casino Galaxy 2000" contest is open to all single women, worldwide, ages 18-32. The winner will receives US$10,000 and a 1-year contract as spokesmodel, representing Casino Galaxy (www.casinogalaxy.com) at special events and appearances throughout the world. "Miss Casino Galaxy 2000" will be crowned as part of the grand-opening ceremonies for the Casino Galaxy Internet-gaming site, which launches Sept. 6. The site will offer a variety of games, including video poker, blackjack and slots, with progressive jackpots. Signups will go from now through August 31. To enter the contest, submit an application online at www.casinogalaxy.com, or mail photos and application to: Miss Casino Galaxy Contest, 12-B Sunset Way, Suite 214, Henderson, Nev. 89014, U.S.A. Complete rules are posted online. The entire world gets to vote! Semi-finalists are selected every six weeks, via popular vote on the Internet, through August 31. The six semi-finalists will take part in special international grand-opening ceremonies for Casino Galaxy September 6. |
