Boyd Plans to Expand Slots at Louisiana Track31 July 2003LOUISIANA – As reported by the Associated Press: “Boyd Gaming Corp. plans to expand its slot machine casino at the Delta Downs race track and build a 200-room hotel. “Company officials said Delta Downs, which was acquired by the Las Vegas-based casino company in 2001, is now one of Boyd's best-peforming properties. “…Boyd President Don Snyder said Wednesday that the $50 million expansion will be done in two phases.
