Boyd Gaming Completes Delta Downs Acquisition31 May 2001LAS VEGAS, Nevada – (Press Release) -- May 31, 2001 -- Boyd Gaming Corporation, (NYSE: BYD) announced today the completion of its acquisition of the Delta Downs Racetrack. The Company completed the transaction and now plans to file with the Louisiana Gaming Control Board for its gaming license for the operation of slot machines at the facility. The Company plans to immediately continue the refurbishment of the casino facility and expects to open late this summer or early fall.
