Bookies Stop UK Big Brother Bets Fearing Second Sting

UNITED KINGDOM – As reported by Ananova: "Bookmakers have stopped taking bets on Friday's Big Brother eviction because they fear another sting.

"Ladbrokes refused new wagers on Lee after thousands of bets were placed on him being kicked out before the nominations were known.

"The show's official bookies says the odds against him being evicted went from 33-1 to 7-1 in just 24 hours.

"The Sun report Ladbrokes suspect a gambling ring placed bets on the 22-year-old at the longer odds and then planned to flood phone lines when he was nominated…"
