Bookies Offers Odds for White Christmas

UNITED KINGDOM – As reported by the Scotsman: "For the first time in 25 years bookmakers have made Scotland odds-on to enjoy a white Christmas.

"William Hill have slashed odds on a white Christmas to 5/6 for Aberdeen and 8/11 for Glasgow.

"…England and Wales are less likely to enjoy a picture- postcard festive weekend, think the bookmakers. London rated at 11/4, while snow on Christmas Day in Cardiff is 'highly unlikely', with William Hill rating it at 13/2.

"The Met Office said that it rated the chances of snow or sleet on Christmas Day as higher than 60 per cent…"
