PRESS RELEASE) -- Looking to cash in on your betting intuition? The 2005-06 NBA season promises to be good for wagering and even better for entertainment.

Basketball players are ready for a battle – and not just for the reasons you might think. November 1 marks the season openers for six NBA teams and the beginning of a controversial league-enforced dress code.

"The league could possibly have a 'dress-code' battle on its hands," says Calvin Ayre, Founder and CEO of "We have been in talks with Allen Iverson's people who are considering our proposal to cover any fines levied by the league with a match donation to Iverson's Crossover Foundation."

In an effort aimed at raising funds for various charity organizations, extended an offer late last week to All-Star guard Allen Iverson and other NBA players to cover any fines for dress-code violations levied by the league.

On prominent radio talk shows, including WGN Chicago's Sports Central Radio and the Los Angeles' XTRA 970 Lakers Network, Ayre re-affirmed his commitment to match any of the fines handed out to the Philadelphia 76ers' superstar in the form of donations to Iverson's Crossover Foundation, which supports underprivileged youth in the inner city.

"We are most serious about our offer," says Ayre. "Players will be fined for dress-code infractions, so it makes perfect sense to match the fine amount with a donation to a charity. In essence, the more fines the league imposes, the more the charities will benefit."

On the season's opening night, the Milwaukee Bucks face Iverson and the Sixers. Other games on November 1 include the defending champion San Antonio Spurs hosting the Denver Nuggets and the Dallas Mavericks visiting the Phoenix Suns and last year's MVP, Steve Nash.
