Black Hawk Reports Record Results for March

24 April 2001

COLORADO—(Press Release) -- April 24, 2001 -- Nevada Gold & Casinos, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: UWIN), reports the continued growth of the Black Hawk gaming market with March 2001 revenue of $41.8 million (announced by the Colorado Division of Gaming last week). The numbers demonstrate an increase of 14.8% from March 2000, and nearly 16% over February of this year. March 2001 has now surpassed the $40.1 million best yet record set for July 2000.

The State of Colorado's three gaming towns reported total gaming revenues for March 2001 of $58.8 million, up from last March's $52.5 million, a not less than 12% increase and close to 14% higher than the $51.6 million for February.

``Black Hawk's March numbers, having now exceeded mid-summer 2000 numbers, illustrate the growth potential of the Colorado gaming market,'' states H. Thomas Winn, President, Nevada Gold & Casinos.

Nevada Gold & Casinos, Inc. currently owns 43% of the Isle of Capri Casino-Black Hawk in a joint venture with Isle of Capri Casinos, Inc. (Nasdaq: ISLE), a premier operator of middle market casinos.
