Black Hawk Gaming Results Up for October21 November 2001HOUSTON, Texas –(Press Release) --Nov. 21, 2001-- Nevada Gold & Casinos, Inc. (Amex: UWN) announced the Black Hawk gaming market grew 8.1% in October 2001, to $39.9 million compared to $36.9 million in October 2000, as reported by the Colorado Division of Gaming. Black Hawk's casinos generated over 70% of gaming revenue in the state. Statewide October gaming revenue reached $56.4 million, an increase of almost 4% from October 2000. President and CEO, H. Thomas Winn, said, ``We are very pleased that the Black Hawk market continues to demonstrate resilience in these difficult economic times.'' |
