Black Hawk Gaming Reports Q1 2001 Results4 May 2001BLACK HAWK, Colorado –(Press Release) -- May 4, 2001 -- Black Hawk Gaming & Development Company (Nasdaq: BHWK) today announced the results for its first quarter ended March 31, 2001. Net income for the first quarter decreased to $1.4 million or $0.33 per fully diluted share compared to net income of $1.8 million or $0.44 per fully diluted share for the comparable quarter last year. First quarter net revenue increased to $23.5 million from $20.3 million for the same quarter last year. Headquartered in Black Hawk, Colorado, Black Hawk Gaming & Development Company, Inc. is the owner and operator of the Gilpin Hotel Casino in Black Hawk, the Gold Dust West Casino in Reno, Nevada and 75% owner and operator of The Lodge Casino at Black Hawk. |
