Black Hawk Colorado's August Gaming Results24 September 2001HOUSTON, Texas –- (Press Release) -- Sept. 24, 2001 -- Nevada Gold & Casinos, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: UWIN -) announces the continued growth of the Black Hawk gaming market with August 2001 revenues of $42.7 million as reported by the Colorado Division of Gaming. That's up just slightly over July 2001 and up 14.9% over August 2000's $37.2 last year. Black Hawk provides over 70% of the market share of the state's gaming industry, so not surprisingly the state enjoyed an excellent month as well. Colorado-wide AGP was over $60.7 million, up 9.7% from last August's $55.3 million. President and CEO, H. Thomas Winn, said, ``We are pleased that our summer ended on an upward swing and look forward to the fall numbers exceeding last year's, as well.''
