Biloxi Bilking

3 May 2001

Continuing their investigation into casinos scams, Mississippi State Gaming Commission agents arrested Lorie Lynn Anderson at Palace Casino and David Downing Wilson Jr. at Treasure Bay casino last week. A warrant has been issued for their alleged partner in crime, player Richard Taylor of Memphis, Tennessee. According to Gaming Commission spokeswoman Ashley Skellie, it is believed that the two conspired with Taylor, who is suspected of accepting money on losing craps bets in exchange for giving dealers heavy tips from money he won illegally. State regulators believe that they were involved in a scheme that bilked four coast casinos out of about US$200,000.
