Big Ad Campaign Planned for Thunder Valley Casino

LAS VEGAS -- As reported by the Sacramento Business Journal: "Station Casinos Inc., the Las Vegas company setting up the $215 million Thunder Valley Casino in south Placer County, is spending a lot of multimedia advertising dollars in the region.

"Lesley Pittman, Station's vice president of corporate and government relations, won't say how much. She doesn't want competing casinos, like the ones in Reno and Tahoe, to know what kind of ad budget it has.

"...The campaign, which rolled out Feb. 1, has included splashy recruitment ads for various jobs at the casino. A mid-June opening is planned for the 220,000-square-foot casino in the Sunset Industrial Area, on land owned by the United Auburn Indian Community..."
