NEW YORK -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- The FDA first posted a statement in multiple states warning the public to avoid bagged spinach due to an E. coli outbreak in early September. Recently, bags of lettuce have been pulled off shelves along the West Coast for the same reasons. This being the case, has given the public a chance to weigh in and has posted odds on which vegetable will be recalled next.

According to the analysts at, mushrooms are the favored at 6/1 with Garlic being the least likely at 20/1. All other vegetables are running a tight race.

Analysts posted the following odds regarding which vegetable will be recalled:

Garlic- 20/1

Cauliflower- 8/1

Mushroom- 6/1

Carrot- 8/1

Broccoli- 10/1

Squash- 14/1

Cucumber- 10/1

Red Cabbage- 14/1

String Beans-10/1

Asparagus- 10/1
