(Nasdaq:ALLY - news) today announced that its Bally Gaming and Systems business unit, a leader in slots, video machines and casino management software for the global gaming industry, has gone "live" with its new Betty Boop™ -themed wide-area progressive system at four Park Place Entertainment (PPE) properties in Atlantic City, N.J. Bally Gaming and Systems becomes just the second company to have a wide-area system in the Atlantic City market and reaches another milestone in its effort to build on the lucrative recurring revenue segment of its gaming operations. Beginning mid-day Friday, May 12, eighty-three machines in total were switched on at Bally's Park Place, Wild Wild West, Caesars Atlantic City and Atlantic City Hilton to begin a field trial as mandated by the New Jersey Casino Control Commission.
