Betcorp Limited's official statement regarding the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act5 October 2006On 30 Semptember 2006, the United States Congress passed the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006 and the Act will become law if approved by the President of the United States. The Act contains provisions designed to prohibit the payment of funds from the United States to Internet gaming companies. While management will take appropriate measures to mitigate its impact the Act is likely to have a material adverse effect on the operation of the Company and its profitability. The Board is evaluating the situation and will update shareholders of further developments.
